Low tide ?

Ok all I'm just wondering , when hitting a beach at low tide
are you wanting to go as far out as the tide For hunting ?
or just to the low tide water line ?what is the best areas at low tide to hunt?
please help me out on this.

Lo tide enables ya to hunt the lowest water level with out fighting trying to dig up targets in the water...and lets ya fish the first trough without being over ya head...

People have different ideas about this but if you go to the beach at just about any level of tide you will see people on the beach and in the water. Thus, just about anywhere on the beach can produce. But what I like to do is get there (east coast of U.S.) two or three hours before low tide and hunt the tide going out and coming back in. Lots of beach to cover. But something I have also found over the years around here is that there appears to be a zone, or straight line 15 to 30 yards wide or so that runs parallel to the surf zone, about mid way between the high water mark and low water mark that produces the most finds. If you find a toe ring or earring or some change, start zigzagging parallel to the surf and see what turns up. You might be surprised. Also, in winter when the storms come, look for areas where the sand has been washed out. (I'm sure you know that one, though, lol.) Good hunting.

good info in that last post.generally just look where the people are and hunt those areas both in and out of water
