Looks like a new F75 was just announced, the F75 LTD!

Available toward end of month, has a more powerful microprocessor and new DSP software code. Two new processes, Boost and Cache Locating. Camo paint scheme.
MSRP - $1,399.00

I for one will be interested in seeing how they can make an already unstable machine more stable by adding a boost?? Sounds like just another nice paint job and charge the extra $$$$

I don't like to buy the first run of anything .The first T2, F75, V3 and Etrac all had some problems at start of production.
Hopefully since thy are working of a existing platform all will go well out of the gate .

Kal you say it smells like a DFX 300 The DFX,MTX and Beach Hunter ID were all just a larger coil swap no software change .
If the T2/F75 LTD were coming out with a SEF 12 x 15 coil i would agree .
Thy state software upgrades with substantial depth increase. I have to at least see some testing before i say its a re-wrap of the same thing..

I all so would not call my F75 unstable its as sensitive as i want it to be HH Mike

Hi Mike,

Nope, nothing. Not sure why. Could be spam filters or people at work not getting mail to my desk. But I getthe emails you send me so do not know why I'd not get one on the new unit.

Anyway, not a big deal. I'm leaving right now to go do some nugget detecting in the rain with my Gold Bug 2. I'm sure I will have nuuget pictures to post tomorrow.

Were talking about some quick learning info. When enough time gets into it, we'll give it a straight report, without the need to sugar coat it.

Look what more is there? If it's all the F75 with the added bonus of more depth, and a cache hunting program, it's going to be a win, win for all involved.

you're pushing for a lump of coal instead of a new 'tector in your Christmas stocking this year.

Hey I had some input in it too... yeah that's it... that's the ticket yeah

Did you notice that they said it will only be available "holiday 2009". If you wait too long you might not get one.

F75/T2 is NOT unstable. I used an F75 for over a year. It has a different language but it's not unstable. If you must have a quiet detector stay with ML or Tesoro. If you want to hear everything and sort it out yourself... then the T2/F75 is your machine.. or at least one of them... heh.

But... it's not unstable not even in Je mode... just lower it to the ground and swing, it will become quieter.

J

It can be unstable due to EMI that is what I think someone is talking about. And the JE mood can make the detector to sensitive that you can't use it....maybe in your area but not mine

It IS if you hunt where I live, trust me.

If they could shield the crap out of them to mitigate the EMI around here, we may have a winner

Granted you may be is such a bad area it would be trouble for any unit. If not any or all, I would take a strong look at your unit, and the operating procedures. ( no disrespect intended ). There were a few that had flunky coils, have you explored that option ?

it really is the ONLY way to find out!..you have my blessings!..if ya do,i know you'll tell us straight!..
