"DSP" software code???

Where did you see that? I just checked thier website and there is nothing on it about a new unit..Just curious.

It seems that it is not the newest but a ramped up version of the F75 not a new flag ship...Maybe for the guys that passed on the F75 but I will see what NASA Tom says. For the guys that dig deep and need a lot of depth it may be just what the DR. ordered but I want more a lot more different FREQ and a way to tame the EMI when needed and a in between coil...I will read and read and then see what comes of this...Didn't Minlabe do this?

The add says substantially deeper than old F75
What does that mean to you .
I say at least 2.5 inches plus with same coil would work for me

I am seeing where some dealers are taking orders. I am kind of with Low-Boy, however, I am not sure what I would like to see on their next "flagship" detector. I seem to have little emi problems in most of the places I hunt and I am now so used to what all the detector is seeing that when I hit a clean spot and not hearing the baaa's, clicks and tics, I start to wonder if my 75 has died. I woukd like to see a mid size, 7 1/2-8," DD coil come out and unless we are talking about at least another 3-4" of depth, I will kind of give it a wait and see, myself. HH jim

Well, at least that will place a used F75 into the $450-$500 range, and the new T2 will place the old ones into the $300-$400 range. At least people will get to try one for less.

Didn't the old Fisher, and Whites for that matter, test out some equipment at Ganes Creek?

Yup found it!

Hey maybe FT will make an updated Goldbug someday and send Mike up there with one.

If First Texas didn't address the F75's severe vulnerability to EMI this "new" F75 will be a waste of money where I hunt.

I hope this and the revamped "T2 LTD" isn't the only ace up FT's sleeve, I was hoping for a NEWLY designed high end machine that can handle the EMI that's ever increasing in the world we hunt in.

I wonder if FT field tests any of their beta machines in California?

I have always wanted to go to AK!!!!

We will probably just send a detector-I wont get that lucky but am willing to go if needed......:bouncy:

i agree!..they certainly have heard enough about the emi issue from many posters!....i believe they have addressed it,and will wait to announce it when it rolls out!

If they addressed the EMI vulnerabilities, the units are more stable, and the new T2/F75 LTD goes deeper, I'm in :detecting:

I would be happy to beta test one of these units for FT in the EMI mess I hunt in. 100% guaranteed to determine if the EMI vulnerabilities were addressed
