looking for rings in the find gold program

Out looking for Gold rings again today, mostly trash exept for a few coins, but they add up fast I almost have 100.00 again in coins, and the rest is trash .Looking for Gold rings is like investing in the stock market, you just have to keep at it and eventually it will pay off, if you sell because the market goes down , you will not make money , and if i quit because i only find junk 6 days in a row you have to keep at it cuz the big ring is out in that field just waiting to be found , maybe under a bottle cap , or amongst the pull tabs and Can slaw and foils , mostly disappointment, but good exercise.

To get more gold rings , you probably need to have a water rig. Lakes with swimming areas and beaches, salt water and fresh water. You can still find them on land , your odds won’t be as good because gold falls in the nickel and foil range .

Sometimes you just need to out there enjoying metal detecting and one day when you have just forgot about finding that Gold ... bang there it is.
I had one day I was out in a sand tot lot. This kid came by and asked if he could watch, and I told him sure just don't get in the way of my swing. I got this signal, scooped it up and it moved. After doing this about three times, this kid says wait mister. He runs in front of me and pulls up this 22 inch 18kt gold chain and says too me " Here is your Gold chain, it keeps going thru your scoop. lol

No beach where I live. Tot-lots are the way to go. Sometimes they can be pretty trashy.

I find that kids are truly more interested in my metal detecting that adults. Most adults will either ignore me or ask me if I found any gold. Kinds on the other hand will ask intelligent questions.
