I'm looking for any info on the Sea hunter mark II , good or bad . Like how reliable it is , how deep it is I know it's a PI but it says it descrimanates ? Any info will help . Thanks

You will dig a lot of steel, reads real deep. I like mine, for a clean beach, (not so much steel) but if you are hunting a beach with lots of junk, you will dig everything. Hard to tell what is what with the tone. supper easy to use, very reliable, it is heavy so i hip mount it, Good thing i got it for x-mas or i would have got the excal. Good thing about a PI is they are great for relic hunting. If bobbie pins where worth anything i would be rich! what is funny, is i didn,t know they still used bobbie pins until i started hunting with my PI .
