Recently my D2 locked up and would not let me do anything no matter what I tried. I was in Relic mode trying to add IAR. Anyway, I contacted Richard at Backwoods. He suggested letting the machine run all night to zero charge then recharge. I did that and it works fine now. FYI but hope you guys never need this info.
Mudwhale, I don't think I had it in Diving You say no buttons work in this mode. Does this mean you can't turn it off? I could not turn it off util I depleted the batts. and recharged. Too many electrons floating around and no place to go in my D12.
Sorry, I got real busy. Diving mode locks out all the buttons apparently to protect the unit under water. There is an "Unlock" sequence for Diving mode. It's in the video link below.
I just got a machine and promptly locked it up! After a panic attack I found I had just locked the key pad. Start on the top left button and when you push it the lock icon will open and then quickly hit the next and then the next..... You're unlocked!

I did the same exact thing and had a brief head panic. One further . . I was updating the headphones and accidentally changed the language. How am I supposed to know what I'm doing when I can't read the screen? I lucked out and got it right, Whew!
