Live Sensitivity.

I see the old preamp now has a wider resolution. Instead of 4 levels preamp we now have ( ? ) levels of RX gain.

That means smoother adjustments to peak performance...

And still we have AC and DC sensitivity now named Disc and All metal adjustment.

That will open for some finer art of sens adjustments.:cheekkiss:

Can you tell us something about the difference in sensitivity within each adjustment option ? :poke:

Without running out to the truck to see for sure, it seems like RX Gain goes up to 15. White's will have to answer the differences question..

Hi,

Thank God they've finally renamed the adjustments. That has been a problem in the DFX - instead of telling you what the control adjusts "discriminate sensitivity" you got AC sensitivity. Huh? Getting rid of the acronyms that mean nothing to most people is good. The new bubble help will also alleviate this problem.

A lot of listening went into this thing. Everything I did not like about the DFX has been addressed, and then some.

The Rx Gain (receive) does has more resolution in the adjust so this control can be tweaked in better to that edge of operation. As for the other controls Disc and All Metal sense has more range so they to can be tweak to just under the circuit noise threshold and this will enable the user to get the most of of the machine if the ground conditions allow it.
