Like I said I was kayaking this weekend

really a trout fisherman. Bass, Gills and Crappie are more my speed/

In the spring the water is about two or three feet higher. When my Brother and I went down in the winter it was up about three feet.

On the upper half of the river the water is very cold as there are many springs feeding it but down near where the beaver is it is quite a bit deeper and warmer.
 
can scare the crap out of you too, if they slide in the water and smack it with their tails! Or possibly could make some people look to see where that big bass just splashed! :)
 
runs across the road from us, and it's pretty muddy right now because of our rain! Some people "float" it, but it is so low right now, you could pretty much wade it as easy! It's been a really bad summer here for us!
 
wud u float that canoe thry rkinsaw with banjo music comin frum our hills? it is true whut our ridgerunning nayburs do for fun times to drifters.
