bone scans. Some feel real hot to me.... It sure is less invasive way to check inside the body. Not funny but on the first one I went to get myself, the rig was in a big trailer, this was 20 years ago. They actually used a lift on the back to get patients on it. I was next and as they were taking the person off before me, they forget to lock the wheel chair, and he went right off the platform. Not sure how it ever turned out but that must of hurt. Back then the unit made a heck of a lot of noise, very distracting. Now, actually about 3 weeks ago, they are a lot more quiet and much faster scans. This last one I got took along time to get. Seems like they got the isotope they inject from a nuke plant in Canada and it has closed down. They were getting if from somewhere else, but it took 3 cancellations to finally get on the list.
All turned out well for me.... This hi tech stuff sure beats going under the knife if you don't have to.... Before that they use Thallium but the doctor said these isotope pictures images are much more detailed... Works for me.......
