We saw the speculation being made when there were no videos. Now we get to see the speculation when there is ONE video and no owners' manual. What ever happened to "time will tell"?Not sure why they are claiming it blows away the competition, it is not discriminating out the bottle caps, so far the Deus2 wins followed by the Nox.
Will reserve my judgement on both machines until the public has the finnished model in their hands and we have 6-8 weeks of feedback. Early Equinox results proved to be misleading. Nokta/Makro has closed the gap with Minelab but to what degree will be seen by Feb/March. As far as Deus 2, the more expensive detector and more will be expected of it. We will see what shakes out shortly in 2022.
And Calabash digger did a nail test with the Deus2, Deus wins hands down
All prototypes not the finished product. The only thing that impressed me about it so far is the tones---like them.
The Deus is over twice the price, it should be better. The Nox doesn't discriminate out bottlecaps on the beach. I have had one for over 3 years and hunt the beach a lot since I live on the gulf coast. If you want to dig jewelry, you can't notch out bottle caps with the Nox.Not sure why they are claiming it blows away the competition, it is not discriminating out the bottle caps, so far the Deus2 wins followed by the Nox.
It certainly will affect Nox sales if it doesn't leak. The Deus is over twice the price, it should be better. The Nox doesn't discriminate out bottlecaps on the beach. So far it appears it can do what the Nox can and maybe some things a little better, it will crush the Nox in sales because of the price.
Now that they can be used in Salt Water we will see if they Leak or not soon enough.Shouldn't leak. Nokta is using same housing for the Legend as the Simplex, which had very few leaks.
What does this mean ? All of their previous waterproof detectors can be used in saltwater. Very few recorded leaks. Nokta build quality is superior to Minelab in every way. Not even remotely close. Now that they can be used in Salt Water we will see if they Leak or not soon enough.
The Excalibur is good to 200 foot depth and it has had some machines leak.
I see a lot of Quest in that Minelab housing.I see a lot of Minelab in that Legend. Anyone remember when R&D meant research and development? Not rob and duplicate??
