Legend on beach

Got my Legend a few weeks ago and learning as I go. Beach hunting is slow now and have to work hard just to find deep change. I dug this up at almost a foot deep and at first thought it to be broken jewelry. Hoping to scrap silver I put it in my pouch. Looking at it today I thought it may be dental gold, roughed up the edges and put it on my electronic tester. Came in at 18K @ 3.6 Gram. Not a bad day at $153.00 scrap!

So with frequencies in question lately, what frequency/mode were you in?
I was in beach mode which is always multi and was using MW that is multi wet sand. Run in mw mode all the time on beach, seems to be more stable with the salt. Not many targets because of seasons end so everything I find is usually deep. I can run sensativity at 30 most of the time.

As I understood it the different multis may run different frequencies like park M1 vs park M2
Unfortunately that information is proprietary so we can only speculate
Still good to know what might work better where

i was at the beach nearly two months ago after the hurricane came thru. The only stuff i found was deep. I did find a silver earring about 8" and as i was hanging it up for the day one of the workers told me the storm moved 3' of sand. I drove north about 20 miles and found all kinds of shells rolling up on the shore. my finds started increasing. So go north about 15 miles or so from where the eye comes on shore and start searching, imho

Which storm?

Cant remember the name but it hit the west coast of Florida, out to the Atlantic and came back on shore around Myrtle Beach. May have been Ian

Because Ian hit the west coast and anything north of the eye on the west coast was pushed out and on the south side the winds pushed the water in.
The east coast though north of the eye was pushed in
We just had Nicole from the Atlantic hit east coast and out on the west

Wife but you are still $150 in the hole after purchasing the tester

Not really, these are unmarked gold from this season. It also shows fake marked stuff from China marked 14k/18k.
