It takes a long long while yes. ages.Takes a while but eventually the pack will go solid green. Try unplugging it after it's been charging overnight and see if it doesn't go green at that point.
Yes but if you charge it while you’re sleeping it’s really not inconvenient. It takes a long long while yes. ages.
Thats why I use these, Avantree Taurus speaker with earbudsI disagree , there is a big"con". You can't run corded headphones while using the battery pack which makes it all but useless if you don't like the wireless headphones.![]()
I've tried several different types of earbuds , low latency down to 35ms according to the advertising and I can still detect a lag because of my wicked fast brilliant reflexes I guess!!Thats why I use these, Avantree Taurus speaker with earbuds

Regardless , it still requires charging another set of batteries you have to keep track of and violates my KISS strategy of making this hobby enjoyable.
I don’t think anyone can make the perfect detector that would make everyone happy with everything they want.Yes , people have their own preferences and it is a horrific and inexcusable travesty the Nokta limits a person's preference with their battery set-up.![]()
Jim---You buggar you!! LOL…….such suffering !!…![]()
It does take a while but curious what charger you used. I would think one with more volts and amps than a standard old phone charger would charge it quicker. My external battery finally turned green after flashing red/green for 48+ hours, guess patience is king for this battery.

The manual says to use 5V 2A minimum
pay particular attention to the specs in the charging device
