Learning xchange, jacked my pattern

Still reading and trying to figure out xchange and adding patterns. Can a pattern be deleted once it had been uploaded? I put the same one in twice. I did a factory reset thinking that would clear it, but it doesn’t.

Still trying to figure out xchange. I tried to add a pattern that I downloaded but it says “my pattern 1 does not exist”. I can add patterns to the top row, which I assume is the Minelab stock patterns, but then I don’t know how to browse to them.

Somehow my backup said that it was corrupted, and it couldn't be loaded. I did a factory reset then I was able to get a backup from my brothers Etrac so all good now. That blew out the duplicates and I then made a new backup.

On to the next part of trying to understand it. Is it true that the Minelab patterns cannot be edited, so they are all still original? I have a few patterns in my detector, some of which I just uploaded, all in user modes in xchange. I'm currently using pattern #2 but I'm confused at how I get to them. All of "my patterns" are Xed out, so does that mean that when I click on Minelab coin program, it somehow accesses these programs? Should I be saving these in "my patterns" somehow? Oh, and I'm guessing that you cannot customize the names of "my pattern 1-4?

I have my Etrac manual open and I'm going through the User Guide as well.

Duh….. I’m gaining on it. I confused what a pattern is and what a discrimination program is. Coming from an Xterra 705, this is much different. I think I’ve got more of it down now, soon to dive into accept and reject editing.
