Late fall swing

T-DUB

Well-known member
I had a good day swinging on Saturday. Dug my first ever brass saber hook, old one piece flat button that has extra rich orange colour on the back, a general service coat button, a dragoon coat button, pewter four hole button, and a one piece flat US general service button dating from 1808-1830, per Alberts. Extremely tough to see the US from the pic, but it’s there. I had to go back and look at some other buttons I have dug at this location and I discovered another one that has US on it as well ( dug that earlier this year). The one on the left is the most recent. Also dug a broachy thingy with a heart.

Excellent. That site must have been used repeatedly over a long period of time.
