Gave a CZ21 detector a try this past weekend, first time hunting with a water unit. Hit the closest inland beach I could think of, spent like an hour in the water before lunch and another hour after, made some changes to my scoop while on lunch break. Unfamiliar with the CZ, I guessed on the ground balance, disc'd out iron and dug the ring-sized signals. New scoop worked great, second scoop had a silver ring! What a blast! Knowing my luck, I might as well forget about finding anymore rings this season.
