went down to the lake and hunted for about 3 hours today . came back with 1.73 in clad .36 pull tabs , 4 bottle caps and nice good for token marked" good for 5ct. in trade" on one side.the other side said "Idaho cigar store". air temp. 38. water temp.35. some was there before me, left holes in the beach and (get this) his battery's in the water, 4 double "a". I scooped them out put them in the next trash can I went by that must have taken all of about a Minuit. I am sorry, it makes me hot to see that .how do I get my pictures down too a size that will be accepted?

What makes you think it was the last detectorist? I dig batteries on beaches all the time.

As for the pics, you will have to edit them on your computer first.

well...the area that I was hunting in was used for logging over the last century and the beach and the water is full of pieces of iron, large and small . I had come upon two other chunks of rusty metal that someone had dug out and just left in the water, then right next to large rusty bolt about six in. long, that some one had dug out and left, there were four double a battery's laying in the water I just put two and two together. it seamed obvious to me .

Even if for no other reason, hunters should always pick up their trash so they won't have to find it again some other time. It's also good to show the rangers how much trash that you are removing so that you'll be welcome back. They may even give you some good tips on reported lost items or when a lake level might be lowered for maintenance. HH!

The easiest way I found to downsize pictures is to Email them to myself. When the program asks what size do you want to send, I pick Medium and then I save the received pictures and they are ready to post.
