Kellyco...issue with items being "in stock"

i don't know why anyone would order from kellyco if the have a dealer within an hours drive. I drive about that to go to a whites dealer here in ohio. He is a great guy and will teach his customers things that will help them. We usually talk for about an hour whenever I go there. Much better than calling Kellyco,or any other online retailer for that matter. Oh well... thats my little rant for the day. Hope you get your stuff soon.

kenfleenor, you are correct, and it is a newbie lesson learned The main reason I ordered from them is because of the accessories they included that my local dealer wouldn't. However, I will stick to the local dealers and resellers on the forum here for future orders.

I ordered a 6" DD EXcelerator Search Coil from them last month. They called me two days after I ordered it. Told me the it would be on back order for a few days. So I called them once per week since I placed my order. No dice, something about the shipment held up in customs. So I asked about other EXcelerator coils for Whites. They did not have any of them. So I canceled the order. I think next time I need something from them I will call and ask if they have it in stock. If it is not in stock I will look somewhere else.

I phoned in an order for a DFX on Thursday afternoon, and received it by UPS on Friday morning. I have no problem with Kellyco.

Wow, that's pretty quick. I've heard of overnight and 24 hour shipping, but never 1/2 day shipping. You must live right next to the store.

I received the packages today. Everything looked good overall and was packaged well, plus it arrived 3 days before UPS has estimated. For once, somebody under promised and over delivered (thanks UPS!)

Now it's on to learning my machine and looking for a DX-1! I sure am looking forward to some warm (enough) weather to get out and do some field testing/learning. I did some air testing tonight and I'm impressed with the way the MXT operates. They are high quality and have a strong, sturdy feel. I have the 12" coil and the 5.3 Eclipse. Still trying to decide if I should pick up a 9.5 or 4.6 coin shooter next. The MXT came with the Whites bonus pack including the Bullseye II, Purple headphones and carry bag. Kellyco also included the freebie bonuses.

The package also came with my wife's Titan XD2000. It is quite a bit lighter than the MXT (but obviously also in a different league), and looks straightforward and easy to use. It came with the 10" coil and a 4.5 coil. She is looking forward to getting out with me.

I also picked up a Lesche and Sunray Gold Pro's. All told, I have a pretty good setup for my wife and myself for under 1050.00 total. A considerable chunk of change, but I view it as money well invested. HH

Now that is fast! Was that overnight shipping and how far do you live for KellyCo?

I do have to mention that it took numerous emails and phone calls for Kellyco to "make it right". So, lesson learned. Since I received my order from them, I have ordered and received a pair of SunRay Gold Ray Pro's, a Lesche and a Garrett Pro Pinpointer from another "small guy" up in the Northeast US...money that Kellyco could've had if they had tried better to keep me as a customer. Seems like it is a trend item with others on the forums as wells lately.
