Keep it short and simple...............your guess; will Tesoro ..........

I suppose unless you've tried them all, there is already a new Tesoro waiting for you! :)

Dan

p.s. I'm doing my best to try them all!

Definitely, It is already in the works. Announcement forthcoming.

Why??

Upgrade of a current model but not a new one

I don't think so . but they my be working on one

I'm certain that Tesoro is working on something. When it will be released who knows.

I hope that they're working on a detector with triple discrimination with all the control knobs on the face plate. Have switches or push buttons where you can easily switch between the three. The main one could be set as low as you want. The first alternate discrimination could be set where a modern pull tab or beaver tail pull tab just discriminates out. The second alternate discrimination could be set where a zinc penny or screw cap just discriminates out. Where they're set is your choice.

A setup like this would make a great coin and jewelry hunter at trashy sites. Oh yeah, I get to test the prototype before it goes into production.:)

It's always nice when Tesoro comes out with a new model but they already have some mighty fine detectors.

VLF technology is already pretty much maxed out by all manufactures. The only things that are improving are smaller and sometimes better electronics like processors and stuff like that. It is possible we may see detector upgrades like a mix match of the best things about previous units like for example a Deleon with a manual GB in disk and all metal or a Outlaw type take off with different features or a new rod configuration or something like that. But it will still be a good old VLF detector and I think again all manufactures have pretty much done all they can with the VLF stuff over all until they come out with a different technology for detectors.

Happy Hunting to All, :detecting:

Im new here and thats the only way i know how to follow the conversation. Im hoping they come out with one or more new detectors and hopefully they are five pin connectors so i can stay with one type of coil.

That depends on your point of view. I'd prefer a new machine that uses the 4-pin coils. I have a variety of those.

Ya i hear you, hopefully they do it for both. I can see myself one day having a large selection of tesoros, im just hoping i dont have to double up on coils.
