Very sorry to learn of his passing. Even though I am less frequent on the forums these days I sure do recall Dan and we communicated a few times over the years via forums.

I have done a deal or two in yrs past with Dan, hard to believe he’s gone, nice guy.

Rest in peace Dan,i have only been detecting since 06 but i always seen Dans name on this form talking about the czs all the time as i also like the czs,it was my first detector, im seeing less and less of the older guys on this form,time keeps passing.God bless

I've been away from detecting for about 6+ years and I've recently had the desire to return.During my years of detecting I've had many discussions with Dan in regard to the CZ detectors. We've even managed to sell/swap a few detectors with each other over the years.

My condolences to Dan's family.
