Just out of Curiostity who has found the most expensive ring on these boards?

I saw one listed for sale that looked pretty similar to to this one, the price was around $3k. Depending on the quality of the stones this ring could be worth more or less. Gonna keep looking for something better if I can get a little time off work. Maybe over Xmas!

Kewl,

BDA:cool:

Aruba find - I worked for it too- was in a trough where the small waves were breaking into a small dead coral reef wall - No visabilty - very little sand on the dead coral so scooping was tough - i got knocked back and forth in the trough - I finally turned and attacked from another direction and got it.

Was brought to 3 different places - they all eyeballed it at 2 1/2+ carats (tough without taking stones out) - 1 place said between $2500 and $4000 - another said between $3000 and $4000 and third said around $5000+

Got to remember appraisals are usually for replacement - what the jeweler would charge to get same ring for you

My gal wears it for now - she gets alot of comments on it and once people find out I found it detecting - they have told her places for me to go and others have come to me for assistance - I have found and returned a few rings and have a few more to look for because of conversations brought about by this ring
