Just hunted two Nightmare sites

Last week a park, yesterday a large sports area. Baseball ,basketball and 2 soccer fields. Both sites have a lot in common. Coins are scant. Pulltabs and can slaw everystep. Most places I've hunted there's usually a lot of coins mixed in with the trash. But Not these 2 places. And no sign that their hunted. No plugs, didn't fine one. Did manage to scrape 15 coins from one place and 20 from another but only got them by a lot of discrimation. Both places sure looked like having alot of promise until I started hunting. Like everything else, blame it on the Covid.

No kidding on the blame. I had a nice sports field that I could go and leisurely hunt and find all kinds of clad and jewelry until the corona then nothing.

They didn't open the food stands ,in my area. So no change.

I believe COVID has a lot to do with this, but I have noticed a decline for the last several years in fresh drops…. People are just not carrying coins as much anymore, and schools have credit lunch programs, so there is little need for kids to have coins school.
What I do not understand is that if there is a decrease in folks carrying coins, why is there a coin shortage??
My buddy and I hit a sports field at a school the last three weekends and there were plenty of coins there, but many were deep indicating they have even there a long time.
In three hunts I found 113 quarters, but that is rare at the places I hunt now.

There is something to the "credit lunches" ect. i have a large elementary school with a large playground that i have hunted a couple of time and the coins are very plentiful but the dates are quite older and seem to coincide with the introduction to ATM and credited lunch programs.

Thats a good question. My local banks are asking for people to bring in their coins in too. And also I had a fairly good take last year. But , mostly with Clad that has been lost for some time. Very few recent drops. Much like Silver once their gone not many coming back.

Guess I am to blame. I use my debit card everywhere....
My wife on the other hand, has to pay with cash and exact change, even if it holds up the checkout line....
You can feel the stares from people burning a hole in your back....
I was thinking we should all go out an get rolls of 50 cent coins and start paying for lunch with these.
Start the trend.
It would probably freak out some high school kid at your local fast food place and he would wonder if it was legal money...

When I was younger, I liked paying in cash & getting change back because as a Coin Collector back then I liked getting Coins & even Bills to go through & keep for collectibles! Now Credit Cards or even Checks are the easy route to pay in person or over the INTERNET by Banking ACCTS! Ma

Will not matter much anyway, as coins for public usage is minted mostly out of worthless metals --The greedy Socialists & DEMON DEM PLATFORM kill, steal & destroy the decent PPL as they ROB them of their incomes by over taxation that the Elites don't even pay if they do happen to owe any, especially FAKE REVERENDS like Percy Green & Jackson, The Pelosi's & many, many others that have no idea how difficult it is to pay for or rent a home & raise a family while working like slaves for a few take home dollars after all taxes & etc are taken out & have reduced their wages to practically nothing than raising PRICES sky high on everything they need for decent living which takes the rest if there is a few dollars left! God help those when they meet GOD JEHOVAH -- Their final JUDGE when they take their last breath! God is MERCIFUL but He is also a God of WRATH! Slaves will receive scripts that will only be good at GOV Stores & even then the BEASTS MARK will be a must to buy & sell--The GREAT TRIBULATION is coming with the first 3-1/2 years looking good & seeming to bring peace BUT watch out in the middle after 3-1/2 years will come the most horrible time for living because it will be so bad that if God doesn't shorten them all flesh will die so God saves a few human beings at that time to continue untl He ends the Earth with Fire, Hail of a Talent's weight & Brimstone completely melting & destroying the OLD Earth, as He brings His New EARTH into existence called, New Jerusalem city for His own! Some lost souls will be saved during the Great TRIBULATION but will have to die by the guillotine?? It sure will be tough & horrible times then without Jesus as Savior & Lord, but they who do repent, although they are killed, will be saved & spend eternity with Jesus Whose love is pure & true & inherit with Him our Mansion in our Heavenly Father God's GLORIOS Kingdom for Heaven will outshine the Sun by all the glorified bodies in which we are made NEW born-again Creations in Christ Jesus to reign with Him forever!

The LOVE & Forgiveness of God our Heavenly Father is for all His Human Beings, but we must BELIEVE JESUS IS REAL by REPENTANCE & ACCEPTANCE through God's Holy Spirit's forgiving grace! Ma
