The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I get over your way every couple of weeks Matt. I'm in Commercial floor maintenance and cover most of Central IL.
 
[size=x-large]former factory worker but those jobes are gone, had my own ceramic tile bussness then i got a hernia and the IRs wiped me out jobless now 4 years no unemployment no disability i also spent 12 years in pottery then i was kicked out of my studio by my drunken brother whom i forgive and pray for you can see my work at minnesota artist .org and search Gunnar Rasmussen i trap gophers for 2.00 each now and metaldetect[/size]

Mechanic for a municipality here in Illinois. I work on everything from weed eaters to Case Loaders.
 
wanna learn one more trade before I retire, not sure which yet.
 
So just as I have figured most people who detector are hands on people. People who dont mind getting dirty and having a good time. I also noticed we have a few electronic techs which make sense. If you enjoy electronics you probably like figuring out detectors such as I. I took electronics in college and enjoyed metal detecting more once I started "Knowing" how they work from a different perspective lol! Its just amazing as to the different varieties of careers that people who have who share this fun and rewarding hobby! Thanks everyone!

Machinist for over 20 years. CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and Conventional worked as a tool maker for a few years. Make a wide range of high end electronic tooling and medical devices, and some aircraft stuff.

I'm a machine operator at a large Abattoir. I used to be a knife hand for a long time. When I lived in Sydney, I used to be a Postman in the CBD.

Mick, after 21 years away from teaching...... engineering for a Power Company, then as an Insurance Agent...... I returned to my first occupational love.... teaching. It's a lot different than when I first taught, but kids are still kids!
