Just curious which arm do you use to swing you metal detector??A simple reply left or right appreciated Thanks

Neil and Elton, both hands, when I switch the detector to the left even though I'm left handed it feels awkward like I'm writing with the wrong hand. Thanks Ron

D&P-OR, I thought I was right, so I leant right, but found if I went left, it felt right. So, if you feel right but find that you're left, should you go left, or lean to the right and risk being left, even though you feel that you're right. A rare conundrum for someone who thinks that they're right being left.

Ron, Dave is left handed uses left for detecting

Elton, I have always heard the opposite of that

Furious T, That makes perfect sense

Well my preferred detectors have hook rods so, when I start out it's with the left hand. When it gets tired I switch to the right. Sometimes on a long day I uses both hands. Normally, I only trust my right hand for holding things, except scissors. They are usually only found in stores, right handed :ranting: I'm Super left handed, left eyed . I'm no Dale Robertson, that's for sure. Never heard of him? He was a cock-eyed cowboy actor. Shot a rifle right handed and a handgun left handed. He was left handed and right eyed, hence, cock-eyed. Left hander's are unique in that they notice each other. Any of you Southpaws notice Left handed girls immediately stand out in a crowd to you? Funny heh? I never dated a left handed girl, but always wanted to. Fun subject. :super:

Oh my gosh, you can't say c.o.c.k.-eye'd here! That's funny :lmfao: It's strange so many here are "switch hitters" You know are right handed but detect left-handed. :drinking:

I write , left hand, shoot, right or left hand, throw baseball, right hand, football, left hand, hockey, right MD right hand I am youngest of 9 kids oldest and youngest are lefty's the rest are righty's, including parents....

I'm left handed and use my right to swing the detector. This enables me to dig with my left hand and is faster and more comfortable for me..Like most of you I'll switch sides to take a break as I get tired.Again Thanks for the information.

Usually have a whites in one hand and a tesoro in the other:drinking:
