I'm left handed and do a lot of things on the opposite side.My wife and I were playing a computer game a couple days ago and she commented I would probably do better to train myself to use the mouse in my left hand.Anyway I use and swing the detector with my right arm.At this point I'm curious which arm is used by both right and left handed users. Thanks Ron

Hi Ron i am 1 of 4 lefty's from a family of 7
I detect with left arm and run mouse with right
Us lefty's are wired a little different anyways

Left handed - Write Eat & Detect

Right handed - Dig Pitch Bowl

Got my right handed older brother's baseball glove as a hand-me-down. So I learned to catch with my left and throw right.

Left handed people are in their right mind.

I'm kinda wierd in more ways than one!!-----Left handed-eat (love to)-----Right handed--write,detect----Either hand--drink coffee, shoot a gun (can't hit much with either hand)!! ------Del

I swing the detector lefthanded.

Write right handed
shave left handed
bat, throw, bowl left
shoot off my right shoulder.
eat left
I for sure am messed up, Beale.

I am ambidextrous with most things, but swing mostly right handed. My hand writing, however, looks like I do it with my toes. HH jim tn

eat , write, throw darts and bowl and swing a golf club - right handed.
bat, swing a golf club and detect - left handed. When left arm gets tired, detect right handed. Dig and probe, right handed. which is less complicated when I am swinging left handed.

Yesterday was my first time out, and I was swinging with my right hand and digging with my left. After a while my right arm was really feeling fatigued, so I switched hands. Being right-handed, it was much easier digging with my right hand. And for some reason, my left arm never really got tired. So I guess my answer is "left".
