Very wise decision (IMO) keeping the F-19 & G2+.-----My wife & I both own/use the F-19's & have the FT 7X11" (I call it a "halibut" coil)
, 5X10" DD, 5" DD and 13" DD Ultimate coils for them.-------I can't say enough good things about the F-19/G2+---they are such great, productive little detectors.----I know one thing--we will always have them in our arsenal.--------Del
The F75 and T2 present a lot of capabilities that the 19khz stuff doesn’t. Depth, tones, speed ( in some modes) , better battery life by a country mile...

It's a great machine. I like my F19 but now prefer the stick handle of my G2+. A higher tone would make it stand out for old coins but I don't think that will ever happen. like IowaRelic mentioned, the stability of the ID at all depths is kind of unique. Also, no matter how bad the ground is it will keep its composure.
No. The simplex is deeper and is enjoyable in a variety of park/yard and relic scenarios. It offers a lot of things the g2 does not. The g2 has even less adjustments than the simplex if you can imagine that. When the simplex gets a nice and small coil it will be neck and neck or possibly surpass the g2 in shallow ferrous / non ferrous separation I do own both, as you know. I keep the simplex in the truck for all types of sites. I keep the g2 only for high emi and dense iron, old sites. It’s my primary machine for old field sites.
I don't have a simplex but another detector from Nokta that works well on old coins. I would not trade it for my G2+ alone. The F19/G2+ are great detectors but they have a few limitations that become obvious in certain situations. Just having a number of tone choices is a big plus for the simplex. The G2+ is a very good dig-it-all detector. Not so great for cherry picking silver and copper coins in trashy areas.
On Nel’s website, there is a photo of a simplex wearing the “snake” coil. It’s a 6.5”x3.5” dd. I had one for my gold bug pro. They are fantastic. I now have the “sharp” 5” round for my g2 but have not used it in the field yet. It’s a square nail hunter and I don’t have many old sites like that right now. (My favorite hunting though) The simplex will be killer in iron with that little football or 5” round coils. I was able to push the limits of the simplex in dense iron yesterday afternoon. I could get it to basically null out and stop reporting targets it was so dense of nails. It was strange. I put on the sp24 and tried again, much better separation of the iron targets but still too much for the simplex to take in and process. That’s where higher end machines don’t choke. There is no such thing as too much iron for a g2 with 10x5DD or smaller coil. The g2 can work slow or fast as needed per identification of each target. The simplex likes fast. Which works against it in worst of nails. Just my observation until now. It’s still a blast to use and will find the goods most of the time.
