just bought a deep tech vista rg 1000

I traded some emails with the guy in Canada today,it may have gone up a little he offered it to me with the standard 11" DD coil for 699 shipped. I have been watching the machines I have been wanting to try one myself. some of the test videos on the net are pretty awesome. I was glad to see amcjavelin get one and do some testing. I hate to base a purchase solely on the manufacturers videos. I use a gold bug SE with the 11"DD coil every day,and I am impressed by the vista. I think this guy in bulgaria is closing in on red heat, and Tek G2/gold bug SE territory. I can tell you gbse will high tone on that brick chisel all day,it loves flat iron. But I am starting to realize that is a lesser evil. I will probably send this guy 7bills.

i'm telling you this is the one detector i don't have an itch to sell what so ever i totally love this machine, but for the word of caution deese they do not make coil covers yet and the 11" what ever they use for epoxy is a little disapointing for what you pay, what i'll do is find a 5gal bucket cover and cut it out and silicone on because when i tried it at the ocean i did not go into the water at all with it and learned can not touch the sand or it will go off but other than that it ground balanced well, another thing i learned wit hthe vista when working in big iron like that you have to use full disc and sweep slow to catch the dimes that may lie underneath, you might have to play with the dual tone plus disc level to help you decide and another thing to i learned when running full discin dual tone mode the disc knob has some effect over the tones as well once you play with things i think its going to be a sweet machine, beleive me as soon as it melts up here i can get in a full hunt i will video everything on this detector , i wil say again the mannerism's of this machine are very simalar to the fisher 1270 but with a few more horses underhood and better disc and dual tone, with the 5" coil i have for it i can air test a dime at 11"

All day passed today and no email from the guy,I asked him specifics on when the machine would arrive at my door,he sent me generic response "ready to ship" so I asked again when will it be at my door? No reply as of yet. I dont like this sort of thing at all,I want better service for my money.

well i have to tell you i had my doubts to you have to bug him because this is not his only buisness, but there are 2 other dealers in us one in las vegas and the is in oregon, or go to deep techs sight for dealers, he has kept his word with me so far iahd to wait for that 5" coil and he told me i was the first on the list said he'd let me know and he did from to maine takes about a week and a half and goes through the postal system, if i had like $ 5000 to invest i'd have a dealer ship in these in a heart beat!

Any contact information for the dealer in Canada would be appreciated.
