Just a button...

...but a nice early 1800's backmark with some gilt...

It was deep with barely a chirp, but all metal (Mixed Mode) picked it up nicely.

One of a handful picked up today at my "safety" spot.

Just a plain front button. These types of eagle backmarks date back to the early 1800's when England manufacturers were capitalizing on US patriotism by making these eagle marks for the US market.
