on another website and a few folks basically had the same theory with it symbolizing victory, etc. Very interesting history for sure. Thanks again :thumbup:
 
to the Philippine's years ago and they made him a ring, similar to the one I found, out of a silver coin. Apparently they are very artistic with their coin rings. He said mine looked like a scarf ring :)
 
Buddy who used to work at the fort before retiring from there back in the late '90's. He showed us many areas where the troops used to train which explains the many coins and relics found over the years :super:
