went to the local fairgrounds for a little bit and found this stuff. a boyscout neckslide. (didnt have this one yet so I am happy with it) 3.46 in clad , a guitar pick, and proof that carnival games are rigged.. the last one is a small lead weight sectioned off into 4 with each square marked with 1/4oz / 7 gm

i am seeing how many different ones i can find although i dont know how many different one there are. so far i got 3 different.

It can't be true that the carnival games are rigged? They have to be honest they are at all the church grounds.
That is some good detecting. Good work...Z

:biggrin:i think it is due to that one game where you throw dimes into glass things and whatever one your dime lands in you win it. they are everywhere.

Way to go there Dobbie, I am yet to find any boy scout stuff but I will. I just have coordinated boy scouts in this area. Well ok I guess that's not it.

they are used for hobby cars. oh well maybe next i will learn the valuable secret of the carny games.....

What you have there is a stick on wheel weight that is used to balance Mag wheels. These come in strip that was about 12 inch's long and were made in 1/4 oz segments so you cut off what you need and stick it on as it had the 2 sided tape on it. You will find these where cars parked as they do seem to fall off a lot as I used to work in a tire shop for 16 years and see my share of these things. They have better wheels now and a better way of balancing now.
