I sometimes wander over to the VIEWS forum

since im not a big fan of politicains red OR blue i avoid
the politcal stuff other than reading it for anmusement
I made the mistake of commenting on the umpires blown call
the other day ( See This is a load of Crap) on views

My opinion is that its just a game ...GEEZ its like i
insulted someones Mother ...


They are REALLY amped up over there....

Anyway just some ramblings before i go cut the lawn

It's much friendlier over here Ron. I haven't been over to the views forum, but there is another one on Findmall that I used to look at from time to time, but the folks there are too far away in la la land for me. I cringe most times I look at it, so I don't bother. Can't offend anybody that way either, as I had made a couple of comments there a couple of times. Would have had no real impact anyway.
I don't comment much on things other than detecting here usually, however, my brother is going to attempt to swim the English channel at the end of July or early August, so I will comment on that. Too hard not too. He had a crack at it in 2007 in some wild whether and failed. Hopefully he'll succeed this time.

Good luck to your brother and his attempt to swim the English channel. I went to one of the other sites at findmall and there was really some nasty stuff about relic hunting and people really talking terrible to each other. I think I will stay with the Garrett forum and a few others. The Maps section is good and the GPS section, but I don't understand very much of it, but some of it sinks through my noggin once in a while.

Yeah they ain't fond of Liberals. They have run more than one off but that's only because they didn't have enough guts to stand their ground. :rofl: A lot of those guys I have known via the internet for 15 years. Some were students in my Garrett Classroom of years back.

Yeah this forum is about the best and the most pleasant. I try to run a friendly and pleasant ship here. You guys should have been around during the detector wars a decade or so ago. The forums ran red with blood. It was brutal.
