is there anybody on this forum that wants to talk about there 1270 or 1236x2?

amcjavelin, Told you the 1270 goes Deep, Last day cause the grounds starting to freeze in in NJ. Double header in 1 hole, 1270 10.5 coil, measured depth11"
.Got them at that hlod farm field I was telling you about. Agreed It's a big target combined but still the deep on this 1270 is awesome.

well there shooter good hunt man well up here in maine the ground is hard as a rock so planning my next hunts ands saving for a 1270 or 1236 for sure!

New 1270 from Oct 2009 till now, at worked out beach club grass field. Avg depth 6". Last pic is for the year plus rings, Jewerly, and silver coins. The 1270 really puts out in worked out places, Iron Disc. works great at foundations and medium trash areas.

AMC guy when you've got a CZ20, and a CZ7aPro it's hard to find a reason to swing a single frequency machine in the salt, Those CZ's really shine in the salt.

have nothing against the cz's would like to try one actually but the digital stuff well if you like it thats your thing manand good luck!

IMH CZs are very user friendly and deep, still in the top 5 detectors I would consider for park hunting, for beach hunting ranks only behind the Excal an Sovereign.HH Ron

I think a lot of 1266 users thought the 1270 was gonna be a 1266 with a manual ground balance. It was more than that, good and bad. The 1266 was perfectly balanced with the batteries under the arm cuff. The 1270 had the batteries in the control box, and while a little lighter, was poorly balanced. But it is a great performer. I've owned a 1236, 1266, and a 1270 and the new Fishers don't compare in quality of construction. Very cheaply made. If you're a coin hunter in a yard I'm sure they're fine, but a relic hunter in deep woods and brush has to be careful not to tear one up. I'm sure FT makes plenty of money on them though.

well i figuired if i could get the 1270 i could sort of have both worlds of the 1236x2 and 1270 depth and that i like the idea of 8.2 khz freq, i would love to see in depth comparison s the 1270 against the tesoro tejon vs the f-75ltd just to see what the true depth 's are!
