Is There a Deus 2 Update Coming

I recently heard that XP is planning to release an update for the Deus 2. Has anyone else heard that? And if so, did you hear when that might happen?

I've heard from 2 guys on YouTube mentioning an update soon. Nothing from G. Blackwell yet.

The issue with the low VDI on a coin beside a nail needs to be fixed with either an update or a workaround, not sure if there IS a “workaround”….but I’ve dug many coins in my short time with it that had nails in with them so maybe that scenario shown in testing has been deemed to be too specific to try to correct as it might upset some other thing….dunno. They’ll be on to
of it though, I have confidence!😃

It would also be nice if nails wouldn’t ring in at 85…

I'm told yes

i recently watched a video about the dues dues . The guy turned the machine on , it showed .72 .version . So it's being tested.

Can you give a link to that video or a clue to how to find it? Thanks!

Where I am, 85 is a zinc cent, Indian cent and trash! Drives me away from that VDI
If you use the audio response with lower numbers, it will give a more modulated response…… deeper is softer . Then just avoid the shallow loud responses. Zincs are usually shallow and Indians are deeper, most of the times. That’s how I deal with #84, #85# #86 .

That is a good idea, go for the depth on those!

This is just what I am doing….leaving the Audio Response at 4 and then turning up the Main volume a notch. That way I’m not worried about missing those softer “wah-wah” responses when using Pitch….and I know the target has some depth. Pitch Audio seems very descriptive to me, you can tell a lot. According to Gary Blackwell it also uses the least amount of processing power to run, it’s apparently as raw as the audio gets on the XP machines.
