Hit the Northern territory yesterday for a quick two hour spin down the surf lane, thought I
 
not sure how big it is but it looks like a brass ring form a merry go round.

I have found several of them here on the beach, I think they are off of old castnets
 
If the O/D is 2.5 to 3" and there are 2 joints under the corrosion, then it might be a nose ring from a bull. no bull
