Only have a few hunts in with f75 ltd2. What tricks can you 75 pros share on iron sounding good. I even tried the 5" coil, maybe running it too hot, any thoughts? I usually use 0 disc but even edged that up to 10-15. Thanks

Well if that's true maybe I'll find something you missed entirely when I sweep at a 90° path because it didn't respond when you went over it in one sweep plane. ;-) LOTS of times chirpy and broben tones with hopping TID turn out to be multiple targets
Just another technique in the toolbox - like lifting as you sweep to see how a target holds.
JTally007 - For iron (I assume you don't want iron sounding good) try the bottlecap process and/or 2L and 1n tones. Quiets down iron hits.

I'm liking this DirtyJohn guy!....I see this is his first post, so Welcome!...I also 'hop coil' like he mentioned and dont rely on the 90 degree thing, especially in the trash with multiple targets under the coil skewing the signal..really a topic that seldom comes up is 'alternative coil manipulation techniques'....
A guy dont have to sweep side to side you know, Minelab wiggle and all that...
You can 'pump pulse' with these fast recovery Fishers even in heavy trash with the 11"dd...you all should try this 'little drummer boy', 'hop coil', 'jigging' style just once...its freaking killer fast, accurate feedback, and you wont use your PP button ever again...ping to pouch in less than 15 seconds on all targets 5" to surface...if you just give it a go you will see...
Hey Dirty...dont hold back here..introduce yourself and tell us what rig you are running and how you roll! I'm thinking you got some great style...or am I wrong?
