The Field Guide shows three iron mask windows, Disc, Iron Mask setting, and Iron Mask am I correct in assuming the one that says Iron Mask is the only one you can hunt in? The one that says
Iron Mask Setting is is for setting only?

you can hunt in any of them, just that the setting screen wont show you the curser I dont believe.. Audio will still work,, Generally you can have a pattern setup in disc mode, click the iron mask button to go to setting screen, set the amount of iron mask, then hit iron mask again.. it will take you to the screen you were running but in iron mask mode, hot the iron mask button one more time it will take you back to the original pattern.. Good for checking iffy signals when using a pattern, switch iron mask on to open up the screen to see how the target reads, and also vice versa when hunting in iron mask you can turn it off to see if the target still comes in on your coin pattern
