Introducing myself

Capt Dan

I just wanted to say hello and thanks for having me on your forum. I’ve only been metal detecting a few months. I started with a Symplex + but quickly upgraded to a deus 2. I hunt mostly the beach but also a few parks. I live in coastal Texas. To avoid any future confusion I am a maritime Captain I was never a military captain.

OK, I don’t wanna be long-winded so I’ll end by saying I hope to learn a lot and share a little.

Thanks, Dan

Good thing you’re a Maritime Capt cuz everyone here are crazy for dirt “fishing” 😂😂

That’s funny Ron😂 I hunt mostly on the beach because it’s less than 5 minutes away from my work. I took the photo below 30 mins ago.( 3:00 pm or so Saturday) that’s ALOT of potential!

I do hunt a couple of parks near my home, but the beach keeps drawing me back.
