I ordered my second Uniprobe a few days ago. I already had one for my Deus 2 and I bought a new CTX 3030. I figured I could use my MI6 for a Pinpointer when using the CTX. This did not work out at all. The MI6 had no volume, so I tried putting the Uniprobe Headphones for the Deus 2 around my neck and just used the Uniprobe Pinpointer to Pinpoint. The Uniprobe for Deus 2 is set up for the Puck so I could not use the Headphones on the CTX. This was a real pain in the rear. So I ordered a Uniprobe through Big Boys Hobbies for the CTX 3030. It finally arrived straight from Detectorpro and I found Bart had ordered the wires specifically for the CTX, which removes the Wireless Transmitter and makes the connection Water Proof. I never hunt in water so I called Bart and griped. Bart put me in touch with Detectorpro Direct and I told the guy I wanted a plain old 1/4" connector for the Headphones to use the CTX Wireless Module. Guy said no problem. While I was on the phone, I mentioned that I was an old !@# and I really like the Uniprobe. I also mentioned that I used to use a Pocket Probe. (Pocket Probe is just a PI Detector attached to a Box that fits in your Pocket) Detectorpro guy said they were considering bringing these back. To me the Grayghost Headphones with the PI Detector (Uniprobe) is the Cats Meow. Garrett Carrot and the MI6 is great for Pinpointing but neither will come close to the Uniprobe while Pinpointing. The Uniprobe with the 1/4" plug should fit and work on any Detector with a 1/4" plug and with an adapter off Amazon should work on any Detector with an 1/8" plug. I am betting that Detectorpro follows these posts so if you were to express your interest, they might bring back the Pocket Probe. For me, I need the Headphones so the Uniprobe on the Grayghost Headphones is the thing.
