In Honor of Lil Brother and Mom (The Rest of The Story Added)

Never had much luck myself at our Casino around here. Thankfully, I don't really enjoy going to them anyways. Much prefer to go exploring ! But that was another GREAT read Sunny. And I'm not surprised by the kind of folk your brothers are. That is easy to see here. Memories are our greatest treasure and I'm really pleased that you shared this one with us. I honestly love reading your stories Sunny !:)

casino to me is about three hours away! I hope Lil Brother is having some good luck. I haven't heard from him since he's been gone. I wonder if he is sitting in some casino watching the Arkansas Razorbacks kicking Ole Miss 's butt! Whatever he is doing, I hope he and Carol are having a much deserved vacation!

My brothers are pretty special people! That's why all three of us come to this forum, because we found good friends here! Have a great day, it is beautiful here, 62 degrees and a slight wind, very nice fall day!

Oh yeah,...........I think Wayner, Royal, Mikie, Cowboy, Bull and you should get together and practice. Bring back the "New Village People"!! Which one do you want to be????

have it any other way. My mother, me and best friend Janet were lucky enough to go back to Las Vegas, for my mother's 76th birthday. It had been a while, and my mother had had a couple of strokes during the time we went the first time, and the last! I wrote a story about this too, but I cannot find it anywhere!

I am going to rewrite one, because I want to put it into my book that I am making for my kids! It was a little different, but THAT is the trip that I will forever be thankful I made happen for us. This time was on me, and even with all the different circumstances, she kept a smile on her face the whole time!

I have never been on a cruise, but have been thinking about it for a while! Bet your momma loved it! You were a good boy! :)

I don't know where you were when I wrote these stories, maybe in Roscommon and before you got your computer there! Thanks for reading! :)

having a big belt buckle!!! :)

PS I have no idea why this did not post under your post, instead it showed up way up here

...thanks so much, for posting it again. It was such a hoot. I can just imagine the fever pitch in which she played. My Lord, she was a year YOUNGER than I am now.

The brevity of life is its greatest surprise to me. That's why we can't let any grass grow under our feet. Every day remaining is a jewel.

I really hope Thomas and Carol are doing well.

Again, thank you SO MUCH, for making my day!

I love you,

Johnboy

I think I saw your mother playin  We stopped in at Harrah's and there was a little lady in her later years that couldn't loose. I think she paid out on at least every other pull. Talk about buckets of dollars, WOW!
Thanks for the re-read! Your mom was quite a lady!
