In a Dilemma

My Silver uMax will match or out shoot most machines in a park or lot. I never get stumped period. I will find coins you miss with other MD's. Its not the deepest but if I hurt swinging I will hurt digging deep. I find plenty 6" or less. Any deeper and you can have it.

I'm with you, Clad2Hunt. All out depth is not my main goal as long as I'm getting respectable depth. Most goodies in the parks and tot lots around here are 6" or less. A machine that's fun to swing, has a quick response and good disc. is all I need.

It's perfectly balanced and feels 50% lighter. Granted you can't see the meter, but I hunt my tone or in all metal at the beach so there isn't a need ( for me) to see the meter.

I was looking at the Cortes, if the ground balance worked in the discrim mode i probably would have bought it. ended up buying the Deleon instead, the extra features on the Cortes versus the price difference in the Deleon were not enough to pursuade me into buying it. the Deleon is not the deepest machine i have ever owned but it is definately a good unit, great for parks and schools or any place were you don't need the depth. I have a high tone Cibola on it's way for places were i want to go deep.
