Important information regarding the recent update.....

Looking forward to updating my CTX, Can hardly wait.

A beach hunter friend emailed me to confirm the new sea water setting greatly improved his ability to detect the surf, before without the sea water feature he was experiencing wave noise now that is eliminated.

A few months back, Compared my CTX and waterproof Sovereign in the surf and wet sand. Both fared the same with wave noise, so I was pleased with the CTX figured if it fares the same as BBS in ocean surf It's got to be a good machine.

Now, with the sea water upgrade appears the CTX will be the better detector for surf here in the westcoast That is fantastic!

Thanks Randy for helping us and providing us an open ear,
Paul (Ca)

I totally agree Bill not worth the extra $900 to me either :ranting: I should've took that $900 and bought another new E track.

I haven't downloaded the update Seawater as yet but after reading the post I wonder if running manual sensitivity on the beach now will be more stable than before. I run +3 now...

Yes, running manual sensitivity on the beach now will be more stable. Before I could only hunt in the ocean water or wet sand with the 11 or 17 inch coil using auto sensitivity. But now I can hunt in the ocean water using manual sensitivity! While hunting wet sand or dry sand, I can run at manual sensitivity of 30. Time to get ready to go to the beach!
