Hello all. I know you are curious about the Impact - yes the device is actually ready but based on feedbacks from testers, we are doing some updates.
Please note that this device is currently being tested in many different countries around the world by a significant amount of users and testers.
It is not an easy task to get all the feedbacks, evaluate them and make decisions on implementing it or not as the preferences differ a lot.
We really want to make sure that all is taken care of for the end-users and we really optimize the device for the general public before release.
Thank you for your patience.

Nokta you guys are awesome!! Unlike other detector manufactures you give us updates I really like that! Can't wait to see what you have in store with the impact!

It would be great that we can update the software like the Minelab CTX and Deus. Any issued can be corrected in time. It would be even better if it was Bluetooth or some other wireless technology.

Yes, the device will have online update capability!

That's awesome!!!
Any chance of backward compatibility with update with the racer 2 or racer or nokta machines or will it be a new feature from the impact on to the future machines?
Thanks nokta. Great company. Live what I've seen so far!!

Update capability cannot be added to current products.
It will be implemented on Impact and future devices.

Good news  also just for future reference getting 2 or more detectorists to agree on most things is like juggling cats :lmfao:

have fun with the cats :buds:

Sorry to hear about your dog's ailments and the vet bill. Other than routine care at the vet, the last significant bill I had was last April 28th. A friend, with his two dogs, and I, with Miss Rikki, were up in the mountains Relic Hunting a very dense iron littered gold mining town site.

Doing okay to start a pleasant day when Miss Rikki got bit in the face by a rattlesnake. That created a speedy, Code 3 type drive back to town and ... an unwanted vet bill. But, thanks to the magic of plastic, I took care of that w/o selling any detectors.

So I'm also sorry to hear you had to let your Relic go. I do understand, however, the importance of a loyal four-legged friend and can appreciate what you had to do.

I have several detectors, thirteen right now which includes 3 Relics. I picked up a couple extra just to keep a different coil mounted, and I have one with the stock 7X11 DD mounted that has seen less than maybe 1½ hours use. I picked it up for a decent price because the fellow had damaged the black rods, middle and upper, but I had a spare set of the gold rods w/gold arm cuff from a FORS Gold and used that for the Relic. I very seldom use a standard coil and when I do it is usually my FORS CoRe that gets called to action. So if you're shopping for a very low miles Relic with gold furniture, let me know.

Spring is approaching and we all need to be ready-to-go! I am sure I can still get along with my other two Relics, and CoRe, and Racer 2 and other arsenal units. :) I do hope your dog is mending well from whatever the vet was needed for.

Guys and Gals, one thing to consider is the online update ability might throw Nokta into a lawsuit with Minelab just like they sued Whites and Xp. Just saying.
