Sounds like it happens according to Larry. It never crossed my mind that any of my fine fellow hunters would even consider buying coins and claiming they were found. You can watch full digs on me and Bill's videos. I can assure you that our coins were not purchased.

I believe this statement is false and attempts to shed Minelab and it's users in a bad light. I can assure you that me or anyone I hunt with does not buy coins to fool our fellow forum members. Bill and I post full digs for all to see.

There maybe a few that show store bought coins, I don't know and don't really care. I do know however, that all coins shown, can be found, in the ground.
If there people who show store bought coins and claim they dug them, I'm sure, deep down, they are more disappointed in themselves, or should be.

A friend of mine in Arizona belongs to a club and they have a monthly contest for prizes for the best finds of the month. He told me that these two certain guys win it every month with unbelievable finds. He said everyone knows what they are doing but what do you do..........

Yea I guess you can not let them back in, I thought maybe you could limit it so you can only win once per year but that would punish the people who were really getting out there and putting some time in.

You actually pointed your finger at Minelab users. I just can't believe that it's a common practice. Maybe so? But my buddies don't do it and that's a fact. OK. I've said my peace now. I'll not post on this thread any more.
