if you're looking for the "perfect" detector, it's the good machine you buy, and practice with until you too, can DOMINATE. AARGH!!!!!

I use a Stingray II with a Cleansweep coil...it will cover a beach quick. It gets about 7"-9" depth but is mainly for recent drops anyway. In the salt water...CZ-20.

I HAVE PUT ALOT OF HRS IN AND GOT A LOT OF GOLD!! I GET GREAT DEPTH HUNTING IN ALL METAL USING ID LIGHTS TO KNOW TO DIG OR NOT.I CHEST MOUNT MINE MAKES IT EASY TO SEE LIGHTS.
