Does a new warranty date start after the update?
 
No, I don't think so, you shouldn't ever have a problem with the software anyway. The display pod is all new but everything else is the same and under the same warranty.
 
A V3i update is available for Spectra V3. The update adds 8 new features and removes the wireless transfer feature.
