IF Weather Man can be trusted !!!!

I detected a drained lake in the worst wind and rain I think I have detected in. Finds were not great, silver ring was the big find, I stopped when I felt the water squishing in my undies, yuck! HH, Mike
 
Well detect that is.

Bring alot of big aluminium slices of a pipe and a GPS.

Then you can dig them up in the spring if you can wait that long.

I admit you gotta be very selective on what you mark as diggable,

I feel there is a little bit better depth too in hard frozen ground, maybe.

Got about 3 inches yesterday and it warmed up to give us a steady all night rain so when it freezes time to clean the units do some reading go to the library or surf the net in the hopes of finding some new hunting ground come the Spring...You guys down South are sure lucky as you sure have an extended hunting season...
Heck we are all hooked on something my dentist hits colored golf balls in the winter and has the bucks to make a few trips down South to get his golfing fix...
 
Yep thats the stuff.Darn weather man got it right for once. Snow on the ground, ice, rain ,slush, got the whole nine yards.
