I’d ask him to give Dogs a couple years longer life span. They’re such good friends to us and it hurts so bad to let them go. I know also many of us would gladly give some of our lifetime to someone we love.

I feel ya. I like to believe that we are all here for a reason, including dogs. After surviving 5 years in combat and coming home not “ok”, then losing my wife of 23 years unexpectedly at 43 in 2018, I can say with 100% certainty that I owe my dogs my life. They are what remains of my marriage. They have given me the love, attention, and affection I need to continue on. As strange as it may sound, they give me a feeling of purpose and hope every day. I will be forever grateful to them.Oh man
