I'd like to see something NEW from Tesoro, like one of my 'concept' models, The Coyote.

Actually, my other concept is based on the Tej

How could something that simple put pressure on their engineering dept.? No real bells and whistles. I added a tab check similar to the one on the Troy to my Silver umax-so I already have a Silverjo'n!:)

I agree this is not to much to ask.i would like a deleon tid , with lobo automatic adj ground bal, tejon depth. and golden max tones. whats the big deal? and coyote sounds great.

If i can throw in my 2 cents worth. I could do without the internal speaker. If for some reason i can't hunt with my phones, i'd go home or whip out a backup. Also, i have played around with rod angle, a little more angling away from the feet make it way more comfy. Also need about an 8-10 in. dd football coil. I know, it's a pipe dream but hey........Your concept is nice though. I'd buy one...

I like it! The name is good too and very much in keeping with the Tesoro names for detectors! I'd buy one!

yeah the faded pink looks like its ready for the powder puff league but other than i like it! by the way have they ever had a machine called the desoto?

I'd like to see a 10-turn pot for the GB - no speaker - threshold base all metal - carbon fiber collar lock shaft

Auto Ground balance with excellent tracking in all modes with ability to run manual GB. Sensitivity adjustment much hotter. Discriminate with notch. Pin point. Auto threshold SAT with manual override and fast recovery. 4-5 tone with nickels on its own. Iron % with TID in a viewable LCD. Back-light. Less weight. I must be dreaming.

I'm not into computers all that much and my oldest son did the cut-and-paste and naming at my direction. He just picked a quick color to try and get close to the

"The Wolf"

"The Coyote" would sort of be the next-step in the progression from the original Eldorado, replaced by the Bandido, Bandido II, Bandido

I would like to see a Diablo umax with a 180 disc and a frequency shift 10-14-17.8 frequency, that would be my dream detector!

4 tones with more frequency separation, I tried the Golden Umax, didn't like it. I do like the Fisher F5 tone setup.

Great ideas Monte. Anything coming out from Tesoro would be welcome. There is no way that Tesoro is selling as many machines as they did five years ago. And yet their service costs have to be rising, or at least staying the same. So their bottom line has to be worse. I don't know how long a company can stay in business without offering new products to spur on sales.
