Hey Mirage. See if your dealer will throw in the accessorys that all the major national dealers are throwing in. I love my Minelab digging spade. I know you mentioned that you are streching it already but I want to mention that almost all the big dealers have special deals going on an extra coil, usually the 18.75khz elliptical. You might mention this to your dealer and ask at the time of purchase if he can make you the same deal with a 90 day lay-away. Heck, in 90 days, providing you get as addicted to this mess as the rest of us you will probably find the extra $99 in coin and relics. I just wanted to pass along a suggestion... Have lots of fun, its unavoidable md'ing.

Well all I can say is thanks for all the great advice. I pulled the trigger and bought the X70. I hade recieved a pile of Cabelas gift cards as an anniversery gift from an employer and this is what allowed to by an MD in nthe first place. I realll think that as much as I travel I will end up using it in various areas for diiferent types of use that it will end up being a very good investment. I can't wait to get it. I have some beaaches and parks all picked out and waiting. Thanks for all the support and great advice.
