Well I really like the Eurotek Pro it seems to lock on to conductive targets quite well in thick iron even a little better than a T2 SE. This is a great little machine for the money it can't be beat. Here's a short video I did on a iron test.

As far as depth I am primarily a relic hunter the Eurotek hits a 58 cal. minnie ball in my test garden at 8" which is great in my mineralized Georgia soil. The AT-Gold in All Metal is a tad bit deeper maybe 1/2"-1" deeper. Neither one these machines are depth demons but they work in iron great and that's what I primarily hunt.

Thanks 88junior! I am also a huge relic hunter, especially for civil war relics. And working great in IRON CONDITIONS would be fabulous! I like also, how the Eurotek will find coins often blanked out by iron as well.

Just clarify for me, if you would, do you like the Garrett AT Pro and Teknetics Euro-Tek Pro because you are LOOKING FOR IRON, or is it because you are searching in amongst iron and do not want to recover iron, only the nearby non-ferrous targets?

If hunting in a dense, closely-spaced target environment with lot of iron, nails and other things, which search coils do you use? What Discrimination settings do you use?

Monte I sure ain't hunting for iron!LOL I am hunting for the non ferrous targets masked by the ferrous(iron) items. I am using the 5x8" coil on my AT-Gold in thick iron and in dense areas of iron I use the Eurotek with 11" DD coil or I throw the 8.5x11" DD on the AT-Gold. I run them both with zero disc all the time I like to hear any and all targets, occasionally I may run the iron disc up a little on the AT-Gold.
