When I found my first ever 3 cent piece a 15 months ago, it rang up 12/26 12/27 @ 8 inches. You would be surprised to see how small it was. I am interested in what the FECO #'s were for Ise450 as well.

when I found mine it read 12-32 but it was only about 3" deep

As GateKeeper has mentioned, it's a 3 cent piece..and they are very small in size and razor thin. Any iron trash nearby will make finding them even harder.
Not sure if you are familiar with the size of a U.S. dime (which itself is small), but here is a "Trime" next to one for size comparison.
